Church History

Laster’s Chapel began as whats called a brush arbor, constructed from the tops and branches of four trees on a street now named Conley Street in College Park,Ga.. In the year 1897 our first Pastor The Rev.J.C. Cunningham relocated the church to West Harvard Ave from there Rev. Lasseter formally organized the Church as Laster Chapel Methodist Episcopal Church. We stayed in the same building until we located to our new location was purchased and renovated and we moved in on August 4th 2002. Laster chapel is now 127 years old.
